Grain Milling Facility Needed New Doors

A grain milling facility needed new doors and thought they would need to make significant changes to their building structure to accommodate appropriate them.

PROBLEM

The facility had doors on many sides that were breaking down due to overuse. The manager thought he’d have make a significant changes to the building structure to accommodate larger and more expensive doors.

SOLUTION

DH Pace worked with the facility manager to understand his needs and source an option that wouldn’t require installing double doors. The Company recommended fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) doors, which included automatic closers so as to cut down on dust inside the facility. Additionally, these doors meet all requirements set forth by American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers (AAADM).

CONCLUSION

Even in situations where the solution seems straight-forward or has high costs, DH Pace can find cost saving opportunities that meet both safety and building requirements.
